World Peace Ends in Death
This story illustrates pretty well the fundamental dangers posed by the basic stupidity and naivete of the left.
In short - European woman goes on a journey with the explicit purpose of demonstrating the goodness of mankind and is promptly murdered. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.
Ok. Ok. It's still a little funny. I'm pretty sure we're looking at a Darwin Award winner here.

Lets not forget these two:
".....March 12, 2007 a North Pole expedition meant to bring attention to global warming was cancelled after one of the explorers got frostbite. The explorers, Ann Bancroft and Liv Arnesen, called off what was intended to be a 530-mile trek across the Arctic Ocean after Arnesen suffered frostbite on three of her toes. The extremely cold temperatures drained the batteries in their electronic equipment. Then there was the cold, quite a bit colder, Atwood said, then Bancroft and Arnesen had expected. One night they recorded the temperature inside their tent at 58 degrees below zero. Outside temperatures were exceeded 100 below zero at times, Atwood said. They experienced temperatures that were not expected with global warming....."

At -58 at least there are no mosquitos. Those numbers made me wonder, so I did some checking. The coldest temperature ever recorded (in Antarctica) was -132 in 1997. That's Fahrenheit, of course.
I've misjudged the weather on a couple of occasions. One time it almost cost me my life.
I've also misjudged the intentions of my fellow man a few times, with the same consequences. Naive, trusting people will always be fodder for the jackals and hyenas in society.
Wear your coat, and don't talk to strangers. Is it so hard to remember these two simple instructions?

Bush did it.

Reminds me of another Global Warmist who went to Antartica last year and died from the cold.
This one neglected to remember that the southern hemisphere's winter is opposite to that on the north.
He and a friend made the trek in July.
Darwin Award, Indeed!

So Adam, do tell.
Is this proof of the savage Man or is it the proof of the savage Islamist? Which one of the two did it in your expert opinion?

Snowrunner - it's proof of nothing more than the folly of putting your trust in the universal goodwill of other people.

95 % of the people on this planet are probably decent folk with the same hope and dreams the rest of us have.Unfortunately that leaves millions and millions of nuts out there that have lots of time before they are cought. Wrong place at the wrong time. Some people just go out of their way to beg for trouble. She found it.

Isn't this the same topic as: "Canadian MPs to go to Iran"?

Tacky. Tacky and amateurish. When your writing career falls through the Google-cache ice, maybe someone will joke about it too.

Hey, I think that wedding dress would fit Conrad Black. Black would like an outfit like that for his new life as a jailhouse queen. Black believed in the goodwill of Americans to neocon artists like himself. How mistaken he was! Now he sits in jail, the amorous plaything of his fellow inmates! How sad. LOL! Adam would say "eat or be eaten!" Poor Black. He is prey.
