Mr. Levant goes to the Commission
We've compiled the video of Ezra's testimony before the "HRC" in "Mr. Levant goes to the Commission."
We are also receiving plenty of letters. To read a sampling of them, head on over to "Letters to Ezra."

As I've said elsewhere--this guy is a real-life Fred Tupper. He can't open his mouth without making a fool of himself. But he has the Charter right to make a fool of himself, despite what the plaintiff and the HRC may think, and I'm hoping to God he makes a fool of the HRC in the process. Between a harmless nut and an out-of-control auto-da-fe, I'll take the harmless nut, thank you.

Great statements on Ezra's part, but that's not really why I'm here. You see, I rather like that painting in the background.... and I suspect it's the real deal, those folks have money after all. Ezra, do you think you could grab it for me next time you're there, when that bored harpy is out in the loo? I could get you a multicultural poster to put there instead - she'd be actually impressed, I suspect.
Thanks in advance!!

Let's figure out who painted that, and what the name of that painting is.

The painting is probably the real deal. Government offices regularly borrow paintings from such places as the National Gallery etc. to display in their offices, especially where the public has access. Not anything of any great value but no paint-by-numbers stuff either.

Shane, easy to sit back a slag Ezra but do not forget it is he in the front line of fire. If he wins, we all win.

Thank God for you standing up against these Islam wacko,s.All Canadians should be proud of you Ezra Levant. I can,t believe we even allow this hrc to operate in our country, paid for by the taxpayer, what a sham. Was this set up for the homosexual community???? I have always referred to these homo,s as homosexual, where did the gay come from??? I guess I don,t know any. Would I go to jail for calling a homosexual a (homo)???? I am just curious!!! I love Canadians, Americans, and Israeli,s and ex Rhodesians, not in any order.
From an angry ex Nation of Saskatchewan resident now living in the Nation of Alberta. There are 600+ Indian (Nation) Tribes, so surely Alberta would be a Nation. Just a thought to put out. there.

Ezra Levant for Prime Minister.
Go Ezra!

Thank you Mr. Ezra Levant for your fine eloquence and adamant opposition to the interference of the state with the free speech and freedom of Canadians.
I watched all nine of the videos. I was particularly horrified to hear of the other abuses of the HRC fascists perpetrated on ordinary Canadians. We are not all as important as you and one such as I would be totally crushed by this powerful fascist system.
This is the Spanish Inquisition, the Salem witchhunt, the McCarthy persecutions, the Schutzstaffel Gestapo, these are Canada's precious own little Hitlers.
They have made this country and our culture a defiled ugly thing.
I am sad that you or any Canadian should even be there. No fascist agency has the right to "summon " anyone and demand an "explanation" for exercising what we have all learned since grade school is our basic right.
I would not go, I could never go no matter what happens , I would not give fascists the satisfaction of interrogating and persecuting me. I would rather they simply killed me and got it over with.
They have no moral, democratic or constitutional authority for such Inquisitions. I don't care what their opinions are, what their methods are, what their pronouncements are nor what their punishments are.
They are illegitimate immoral thugs that have somehow usurped Canada's judicial system and they need to be totally expunged from their power over other Canadians. They need more than to be expunged from power, they need to be sentenced to long prison terms for abusing the basic human rights of Canadian Citizens.

I agree. That's why I'm defending his right to say it, even if I don't agree with what he says. Because if they take his freedom, yours and mine will be next.

I just put up a long piece about Levant at the top of www.darrellepp.com. this is very important, a real canary in a coal mine situation.

Mr Levant: I thoroughly agree with you in defending our freedom of speech and thought. You did it in an eloquent and firm manner. We certainly lost a lot of our freedoms under the Liberal rulers, and now we have to try to get back what they took away. Canadians need to be less complacent, and more mindful of their rights.Keep up the fight !!

I wonder how strongly Levant would claim "freedom of speech" if someone published the following in Canada today.

This has just appeared on the Internet. It's about Mark Steyn. I wonder if Pat Condell will produce a similar one about Ezra's case?

Dear Mr. Levant,
I am a Christian citizen of the US so I do not think your fight will help me directly. Nor do I expect you to stand up for my right to free speech or for my particular causes.
I do not know about Canadian law or constitutional issues and so I cannot evaluate the fitness of your claims, but I do find the world itself to be generally cowardly regarding what I consider to be the organized attempts to institute a world-wide Mohammedan caliphate in which political, personal and religious freedoms will not exist. I applaud you for this most necessary and dangerous stand that you are taking against the prospect of further tyranny; tyranny to which most of Europe is now slowly surrendering.
And, for what it is worth to your readers, please remember the original cartoons of Mohammed were called for and printed by Jyllands-Posten expressly as a pushback to Danish self-censorship caused by Mohammedan intimidation and that by the time you printed the cartoons they were already must-see news necessary to inform your readers about both the legitimacy of the Mohammedans’ criticism of the cartoons and their claim that they were the cause of the deadly, world-wide rioting which ensued months later.
You are a true hero.
Sincerely,
Chas.

Good for you Mr. Levant.
I really hope you will keep fighting injustices like the HRC. The ultimate hate crime instigators. I too have been a victim of the HRC.
The Canadian government-hiring motto: “White males need not apply”. We are currently only accepting applicants from the following: aboriginals, visible minorities, women, and disabled. The aforementioned candidates will be given higher priority, then competent white male Canadians. The liberals actually announced this, and had to recant. I would also like a nice government job and contribute to my country but I guess am too white. It would be unfair to others that I get hired at this time for minorities.
I have two degrees and am in the prime of my life but can’t get hired by my own government. However, I am happy for the selflessness my government has shown, putting foreigners ahead of Canadians. I agree, I have had it too good for way too long and don’t deserve a job like my new “friends”. However, one thing that upsets me is that I never hear about white Canadians not being able to get hired and using their education to their full potential. I just hear about these poor over educated cab drivers that are only making $500/day mostly tax-free driving cab. How can they live on that? Reality is they can’t work as doctors, as their fake degree they used get points to qualify for Canadian citizenship, doesn’t enable them pass the basic tests here to register. That too will change when the people in charge of registering degrees are relatives thanks to the HRC.
The people that the HRC are trying to protect are militant, numerous and empowered, not poor weak minorities. They definitely do not need more help from our government. I think the whole immigration thing has backfired by vote lobbying governments. It just keeps costing taxpayer’s money left right and center and hated by those who we are helping who are never satisfied until they are in control. In today’s world the HRC is outdated.
If networking and hiring people you know and trust is now a crime we have just changed how we have been doing business since the beginning. In the future when my new “friends” are in charge of the hiring, I hope the HRC will file my children’s claim when they have to beg for a job in their own birthplace. When does affirmative action stop? I don’t want to be pushed out of my own country by my own government protecting foreigners and forgetting about me. We are replacing the host culture. Canada is changing into a third world county.

Mr Levant,
Despite other negative comments on this website against you, I would like to say you have a valid point. When I say this is because I dont take the "hate" some people believe you promote, but I take it more as a patriotic fact.
Honestly, I dont have anything against islam as religion or culture. but why the islam people call us infidels? christians are not allow to build churches in any muslim country but the muslims have one close to Vatican? why the palestinians never want peace? they call themselves victims every hour by killing innoccent israeli civilians...why so much double standard with muslim people?? why women are not allow to talk to strangers(men)while the men from Saudi and other emirates country are visiting bordels in UAE or Bahrein? Why muslim people trying to teach us their failed culture of Mohamed?
There is so much debate of a clash between religions or civilizations, its a clash between two opposites. One of mentality that belongs to middle ages and the other that belongs to our 21 century. Its a fight between backwardness and civilization like between primitive and civilized. A clash between freedom and oppression.
A clash between those who treat women like animals and those who treat them like human beings.
Our civilizations do compete each other and muslims are the ones who divide people into muslims and non-muslims. The islam book is the one who calls for "takfir" and fighting the infidels...
Now I dont understand why this human right commision is so blind and listen to these people always acting like victims everywhere in the world when at the same time those people , fundamental islamic fascists burn churches and kill inocent people in the name of allah. Why this commision is so blind to what is really happenning in the civilized world like in Europe, Asia, America where goverments are always in pursuit of islamic terrorists. These terrorist are never russians, dutch or any other civilized nation but muslims (pakistanis or arabs) killing in the name of their religion. When we talk Freedom of speach and our human rights we are not thinking coran, we are not talking freedom of killing.
The muslims burned three Budhha statues into rubble but we never seen a budhhist burn down a mosque , kill a muslim or flatten down an embbasy.
Only muslims defend their beliefs by burning down churches and killing innocent people.
Now I ask the Human Right Commission: where exactly do you stand as principle on my above comments.
The islam religion does not follow your rules dear human right commisioners. They (muslims) want sharia law in Canada and not your stupid investigative complaints of some abu-Dhilla supreme leader.
If indeed want to investigate hate may as well start with muslim community, people that hate their wives by beating them or killing their dear children for not wearing the burka.
I travelled in almost every muslim country except few and I could write books about the so called muslim culture, a culture of violence, uncivilized people and backwardness.
Thank you Mr Levant for being brave and using your legal freedom of speach to the maximum the law in Canada allows it.
I am with you and God bless Canada.
Chris
