The Case against Blair Wilson -- The Elections Canada evidence
Blair Wilson is the BC LIberal MP forced to resign from caucus after serious charges were leveled against him. His election spending was called into question, with news reports of a package of evidence delivered to Elections Canada. The evidence includes emails that purport to substantiate the allegations that thousands of dollars was spent by the Liberals but not reported to Elections Canada.
In a series of posts, I'll present the actual documents delivered to Elections Canada for you to review. Come to your own conclusions, and judge whether the case has been made that Blair Wilson, and perhaps others, deliberately cheated to win the riding of West Vancouver-Sunshine Coast-Sea to Sky Country, formerly held by the Conservatives.

karol karolak: Teachers working to get Liberal candidates elected were replaced by supply teachers, lovely stuff. There has to be a law!!

I read each charge in detail and I'll tell you that in my mind it doesn't make any difference what Elections Canada say - This guy arrogantly ran his campaign like he was above the law snd obviously intended on not reporting his spending by using cash.
Combined with the other information which has come to light about him, Blair Wilson clearly is morally reprehensible, a business failure and as slimy as people can be.
The Liberals have lost this riding for good - regardless of who steps in the Liberal Candidate (They surely won't let this guy run again)

Well, Dale, don't be too sure, Liberals have the magic formula for sanitizing and also for hiding poop, like Iggy's favorite bird, the Puffin and coming out smelling like roses. All with the help of their minions in the media.

Can we see copies of his MP expense reports? Chances are that he billed a lot of expenses to the taxpayer that may be questionable. The Province article said that he spent his investors funds on extravagence. Is MP expense info easily obtainable? It certainly is for ministers.

What gets to me is Vanoc asked him to remove the olympic logo from his campaign brochure (http://www.publiceyeonline.com/archives/001159.html) . Although he said he had "taken immediate steps to comply" he clearly ignored the request (read page 5 of printing evidence)
