McGuinty on the march

Mcguinty_iwish_2 It's been quite a week for Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty. First, the Conservatives sucker him into apologizing for some obscure insult by a low level civil servant in a misdirected email--the "ghetto dude" thing. Then his top campaign adviser Warren Kinsella gets raked over in the media for a lame caption--"I wish I was at home baking cookies"--plastered on a photograph of a young female MPP. And now everyone is blaming him for his citizenship and immigration minister's pre-election heritage daze support. On that last one, here's a piece from Wednesday that mentions yet another group that benefited from Colle's vote buying, the Chinese Professionals Association of Canada. Epoch Times: Fundraiser for Ontario's Colle Links Group That Got 'Slush Fund' Grants. I particularly like this line in the story;

CPAC also works with state and local-level Chinese governments to attract Chinese-Canadians with technical knowledge to return to China to discuss their technology, all expenses paid.

How generous.

...reminds me of when we wined and dined a chinese delegation here in Alberta regarding slant well drilling and such.

Showed them everything in hopes they'd be impressed and hire Alberta companies. Ends up they photographed and wrote everything down, went back and did it themselves.

Ha, love the irony. Sure, send them to Ontario, they're building cars now and probably need to know something like distribution and avoiding unions.

The Liberal Party is spending our tax dollars to export technology and jobs to China - the Chinese must be very appreciative, maybe they'll give us a deal on the stuff we used to make after we go broke?

Power hungry Liberals will lie, cheat and steal to retain power over their subjects - it's da usual business - why some 'Canadians'(?) don't seem to mind Liberal corruption is harder to understand since nothing is sacred to a Liberal, obviously they would steal your pension money just as easily as any other funds.

phil...why some Canadians don't seem to mind Liberal corruption?

I think there is a psychological mental imbalance called "Stockholm syndrome" displayed by Liberal and closet NDP voters.

Don't give up so easily. The Chinese are doing what comes naturally. Adjust to the new world order. It's not all that bad.

dewp - you really are a dupe!

The Chinese have been doing this for years. What was Einstein's definition of insanity?

In New Brunswick the long established Moncton Flight College has signed a $60 million contract with the PRC to train commercial pilots. The project has been funded in part by ACOA and the Province of New Brunswick. What MFC will find is that many of the commercial pilots will be upgraded as certified instructors in China, thus I am tempted to say that the current contract will be a one and only. Lack of english by Chinese Commercial aircrews has caused
several major fatal crashes of Chinese commercial
carriers in recent decades. Many of the Canadian trained pilots will find them selves in the PRC Air Force flying state-of-the art Russian fighters
-MFC will find the $60 million hard to collect. Macleod

Ya the GTA media dives on Dolton McChimpy's verbal gaffes as a matter of putting the public on onto a series of inconsequential misdirects.

What is it with this vulgar lying, sleazy, soviet autocrat that the media does not address his real crimes...his consistent lying, his construction of bureaucratic tyranny, his dual standard law enforcement, his needless payment of blackmail to Six nations extortionists, the fact that 3600 industrial jobs a month leave the province never to return....but no, the smug liberal GTA media lightly poo poo some innocuous gaffes.

Ontario is in line to become Canada's first martial law banana republic, with no hope of a banana crop revenue.

But all the media can do is correct the speech of its dictator.
