Will you people stop giving Parrish attention? She's just another rich bigot from Toronto. People like her crave the spotlight and will do anything to get it. Ignore her and she'll go home and count her/our money.

F*ck off with the sarcasm for one post.
How much do you think it cost for a very specialised ship and its crew to deploy to bring a stranded submarine to port in a more timely fashion?
By the way: Who do you think will pay for all that?
Hint: it wasn't THEIR submarine!

Don't expect a rich Ontarian like Parrish (well, ALL Ontario people are rich, so it's redundant) to express any gratitude to the US or anyone for any reason. Ontario people know they are the center of the universe and never miss a chance to say so.
If anything, Parrish and her ilk will condemn the US for not acting faster. Nothing is good enough for them.
Just watch the rich Ontarians at the funeral of that naval officer. They'll be crying crocodile tears the whole time, because it's one less military man to shovel the snow of the rich.
Time to disband the military.

Suggestion: Readers might go to the UK MOD Site
focus: Royal Navy, for detailed reports about how
the RCN Submarine was towed to a United Kingdom
port, and who concluded the final phase (US Navy)
There were four surface vessels, plus twelve (12)
Royal Navy and UK Helicopters assigned, for the
most part EH101 "Merlin" aircraft. The Canadian
Forces, through no fault could not launch 12
helicopters for an operation in one specific area
The EH101 "Merlin" was the aircraft chosen by the
Mulroney Government in 1993.
