Peter Stastny running for office

I guess it must be the hockey fever and reading this political analysis. When I surveyed the list of federal candidates in the ridings of Québec (noticing that the Conservatives have nominated ominously few candidates: only 7 out of 75 ridings) I saw that Peter Stastny is running for the Conservatives in Brome-Missisquoi and I instantly thought that the CPC had just succeeded in getting the famed Québec Nordiques player to run for them. But that ain't so. This Peter Stastny is rather running in Slovakia for the European Parliament. This was too good to be true.

I'd vote for Peter, always was my favourite player as a kid growing up, in fact I have a replica Stastny jersey, gotta love the throwbacks. Maybe Michel Goulet is available instead?
